YMCA Season Reminders

The YMCA has asked for our help to insure the health and safety of all those participating in the high school swimming program: 

1.  All bags, books, towels, etc. must be stored in the bleachers during practice and meets.  Please do not leave your personal items on deck while practicing, or at meets.  Unless otherwise posted, the deck must remain clear. 

2.  Tables are not to be moved on the deck during practice.  One table for each team will be made available during meets. 

3.  Coaches are to coach from the South-side of the pool only.  Please do not let swimmers congregate by the starting blocks.  

4.  Parents and spectators must remain in the bleachers during practice and meets. 

5.  ALL SWIMMERS MUST TAKE A SHOWER USING SOAP BEFORE ENTERING THE POOL.

6.  All coaches, parents and athletes are asked to treat the YMCA staff with respect.  If you have an issue, please go to the aquatics office in a calm and respectful manner and ask for Michael.   

7.  Your team may be asked to shift lanes during practice, especially those in the water on Monday between 7:00 and 8:00pm.  You will be given the same amount of lanes, but may need to shift from the deep end.  Please comply without complaint.  The lifeguards are only doing their job. 

8.  Rosters must be given to Michael Kreiter immediately.
