Lifeguard Training Course

The West Family YMCA & Boise City Aquatic Center offers American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Courses.   

Course Fees include certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Automatic External Defibrillation.  Fees include all books, certification cards and pool time.  Please contact Darcy @ 377-9622 for financial assistance.

Course Prerequisites:  (Will be completed on the first day of class) Must be at least 15 yrs. old on or before the last day of the course; Must also complete 500 yards (20 lengths of the pool) of swimming continuously using front crawl and breast stroke.
